The Sutherland Half Marathon is an historical annual event, that has been held for over 40 years. It is a truly beautiful out and back course running along Lady Carrington Drive in the Royal National Park, Audley where you might see many different types of wildlife such lyre birds, peacocks, wallabies, kangaroos, black cockatoos and echidnas.
Approximate Costs (based on 2012, subject to change for 2013)
$5 for 16yrs and under (2km-10km races)
$10 for over 16 years (2km-10km races)
$35 for prepaid Half Marathon entrants ($40 on day registrations)
To get there, drive into the Royal National Park via Farnell Avenue and proceed across the Audley causeway. About 200m past the weir causeway, turn right and proceed south alongside the Hacking River to the start of Lady Carrington Drive.
All races start and finish at the carpark next to the Lady Carrington Drive entrance.
